golf meets blawrencefield.
diehards, enamored beginners, and all golfers in between: it is time to unite in a space that is built for all of us. a space made in our community, by our community, for our community.
I know the story and the challenges all too well…
“I want to practice more. but the commute to the range, practice facility, or course after work makes it tough to put in meaningful time. not going to happen tonight - too much going on to fit it in.”
“I could go to a sim in a premium area, but i’d have to pay for parking.. and will have to sacrifice a round at a nice public course. an hour at the sim is just as expensive.”
“Why do so many quality golf spaces feel stuffy and overly-exclusive?”
“I want a place that feels like a home away from home - where I can go to unplug, hang around after for a few minutes after i’m done practicing - a place to slow down.”
“I just want to focus on my game without the social pressure of being around large groups.”
“Where is a space that accomplishes all of this in the east end?!”
An oasis hidden in plain sight.
no longer an idea, but a reality. search no further. location to be announced soon.
community commitment & stewardship.
We moved into the neighborhood 18 months ago and above all, strive to be the change we wish to see.
There are already so many amazing places, spaces, and people in the community that embody this - and it’s energizing.
the change that we very clearly see already is one that brings us together. a place that focuses on what we all have in common. together we are stronger, and this space will be committed to drawing that out. We will always default to leaning in and working closely with the many amazing stewards of the neighborhood that are already doing incredible things.
initial plans (golf-focused) include low cost of entry late fall, winter, and early spring leagues; club fittings; approachable, affordable coaching.
initial plans (community-focused) include flower & vegetable gardens, cleanup days, and open-house days.
Transparency.
We all know the feeling. finding a place to simply do something we love too often becomes a sociopsychoGeoeconomic analysis almost immediately upon exploring our options.
not here. simple membership structures, clear pricing & benefits, a voice in the way things happen from day 1, and in your backyard.
More on the intersection of balancing memberships, which feel inherently “exclusive”, and the need to mitigate risk, promote safety, and building a sustainable space with no outside influence, here.
the only golf hideaway for the pioneers, trailblazers, dreamers, misfits, and drifters among us.
